Author: Julie Kagawa
Published by: Harlequin Teen

Format: ebook
Rating: ★★★★

Summary from GoodreadsA Midsummer's Nightmare? Robin Goodfellow. Puck. Summer Court prankster, King Oberon's right hand, bane of many a faery queen's existence—and secret friend to Prince Ash of the Winter Court. Until one girl's death came between them, and another girl stole both their hearts. Now Ash has granted one favor too many and someone's come to collect, forcing the prince to a place he cannot go without Puck's help—into the heart of the Summer Court. And Puck faces the ultimate choice—betray Ash and possibly win the girl they both love, or help his former friend turned bitter enemy pull off a deception that no true faery prankster could possibly resist.
Ever wonder what goes on in our favorite prankster's head...well here is your chance.

I loved that Summer's Crossing was told from Puck's point of view.  It was nice to hear his voice come out and to get a little more in touch with his non-humorous side.  We often see Puck as the jester and all-out-fun best friend so it was nice in Summer's Crossing to see deeper than that and truly get to know him.

I loved the trickery that went on in this novella.  It was genius...Puck was genius.  I was never quite sure what Puck was going to do until the very last page.  Summer's Crossing will keep you guessing and laughing until the last word.  Thanks Julie Kagawa for giving us a little taste of Puck.

  2. I loved the plot in this one, but I think so far out of the 3 books and the 2 novellas this was my least favorite in the series. I can't wait to read Iron Knight!
